Thomas English, CPA

Tom English has been a CPA for more than 40 years, serving individuals and closely held businesses. He works diligently with his clients in tax planning, mergers and acquisitions, tax compliance, audit representation, pension plans and general management.

Tom’s clients are all closely held companies that have sales of less than 25 million. He works in varied industries, including: retail, wholesale, healthcare, construction, manufacturing, professional services, real estate and small business. Tom also advises high net-worth families with tax planning and compliance.

He received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Miami (Florida). Early in Tom’s career, he spent seven years engaged in tax planning and tax compliance for professional athletes and celebrities.

He is a current member of the Ohio Society of CPAs, National Society of Tax Professionals and the Greater Cleveland Growth Association. He is also licensed in Ohio and Colorado for accident & health, life insurance and variable annuities, and certified in long-term care insurance.

Tom serves as treasurer of the Lakewood & Rocky River Rotary Foundation and Westwood Country Club.

Tom has been married for more than 35 years. He has a son working on Wall Street and a daughter working for the Chicago Bulls. In his spare time, he enjoys playing basketball, tennis and golf and fishing.
